Ray and Nancy McKinley put together one of their unbeatable "see and ski" expeditions to Argentina for the summer of 2000. It included skiing in the Andes outside San Carlos de Bariloche, sightseeing in Buenos Aires, with a day trip to Uruguay, and marveling at Iguazú Falls on the border between Argentina and Brazil. It was fabulous.

The trip was well before I owned a digital camera, so all of the pictures in this travelogue are scanned in from prints. Bob Marx and others supplied some of the images -- mostly the ones that contain Jim & me.
